BURTON TOWN INVESTMENT PLAN

The news that Burton has been awarded £22.8 million for regeneration is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see massive investment in our town.

Earlier this week I met with market traders and have since written to the Deputy Leader of East Staffordshire Borough Council, George Allen, about ensuring that consultation is comprehensive and far-reaching both for the market traders and the wider community.

I also highlighted the strong level of feeling in the community for a waterside-style development in Burton which included leisure and retail opportunities for residents.
