Kate Griffiths MP has launched a competition for local pre-school and primary school aged children to design her official 2020 Christmas card.
Children who live or go to school in the Burton and Uttoxeter constituency are invited to take part in the competition and the chosen design will be used for the Burton and Uttoxeter MP’s official Christmas Card which will be sent out to hundreds of people. As many other designs as possible will also be showcased on Kate’s website and social media for all her constituents to enjoy.
Participants, who must have been born on or after 1st September 2009, can be as creative as they like using pencil, pen or paint etc. - the only rule is no glitter!
All entries must be A4 portrait, and arrive by 8th November with their name, address and school enclosed.
Kate said, “This year has been strange and unsettling for all of us but I hope this competition will be a little bit of joy to end the year on and something to brighten the mood. I would encourage as many children as possible in Burton and Uttoxeter to get creative and take part”.
“I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful designs and being able to choose one for my official Christmas card”.
