Commenting, Kate Griffiths MP said:
“It was really good to visit Burton Community Fire Station today and meet with Staffordshire’s Chief Fire Officer, Rob Barber. It was good to hear about how the service is adapting as the nature of incidents they respond to changes and how they continue to work to keep our local communities safe.
“Rob has many years’ experience and is an inspiration to the fire team, especially having previously served as a fire officer here in Burton and worked his way up the ranks.
“I want to thank him and the local Burton fire team for the station tour and for the work they do day in, day out to keep us safe.”
