Monday 27th January will mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
On Wednesday I was honoured to attend the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust’s Parliamentary Reception, where I met John Hajdu. John is a survivor of the Holocaust, and his mother also survived a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. It was a privilege to meet such an inspirational man.
There is no place for anti-Semitism in our society and the horrors of the Holocaust must never be forgotten.
