Locally founded business Kenect Recruitment has now officially opened its new HQ & National Support Hub in Needwood, Burton upon Trent. MP for Burton and Uttoxeter, Kate Kniveton, officially opened the office on Friday 10th February. The hub will help support Kenect’s 45+ UK locations with Business & Franchise Development, Accounts, Marketing, Human Resources, and UK Sales.
Kenect Recruitment was founded in May 2012 by co-owners, Jason Whittenham & Julien Smith. Since then, it has flourished into a national recruitment agency providing temporary and permanent staffing solutions to clients within the transport, industrial and commercial sectors.
Kate Kniveton MP, said, “It was great to visit the new head offices of Kenect Recruitment in Burton and to meet with Director Jason Whittenham and his team.
“Kenect Recruitment is in the final stages of opening its new head office in Newborough Road which will act as a national support hub for their offices throughout the UK, including their existing Burton (Hawkins Lane) office which I am pleased will remain.
“Congratulations to Jason and his team on the move and for creating a great new space for their HQ! I am delighted that they are continuing to make Burton home to their national head office.”
Managing Director, Jason Whittenham, who was born in Burton Upon Trent, said, “We have seen an overwhelming increase in project activities over the last several years, so this naturally led to the opening of our new support hub in Burton.”
