Kate Kniveton, Member of Parliament for Burton and Uttoxeter, has today (24th November 2022) has visited local engineering business the Malone Group.
Based in Third Avenue Centrum 100, the Malone Group are set to soon celebrate five years of being in business in Burton, developing engineering solutions for businesses looking to monitor and increase performance.
The local MP met with Group Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Malone, and was given a tour of the site and heard more about what services the Malone Group was offering to its clients. Recently, with energy costs rising, the Group has been working with businesses to help them improve their energy efficiency and make savings to their electricity bills. Malone are also helping businesses develop automation solutions for the future.
As part of the visit, Ms Kniveton met with five students from Staffordshire University who are currently on placement at the Malone Group and gaining valuable skills and experiences. Mr Malone highlighted that the business was passionate about supporting the training of local talent with learning and development opportunities.
With the Group’s five-year plan set to end in 2026, Stephen and his team are looking to the future and are preparing to open a new technology suite at their Burton offices.
