The first duty of any Government is keeping people safe and maintaining law and order. Crime can significantly impact our local communities, and it is vital that residents feel safe in their homes and on our streets.

I am in regular contact with your local councillors, community leaders, Staffordshire Police, and Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner, Ben Adams, so that we can work together to deal with issues affecting Burton. I want to know if you and your neighbourhood have been impacted.

Having recently raised concerns about violent crime with the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary, I know the Government is listening to what we have to say, and is ready to support us in beating crime in Burton and Uttoxeter.
